Investigating the Effect of Coding, Interleaving and Modulating GPRS RLC/MAC data

چکیده
This paper describes an investigation into the effects of coding and modulating GPRS data, on the output RF measurement. The thrust of the work has been to look at the effect on the RF output when different types of pseudo random sequences with different lengths and different phases are fed at the input. The paper also provides an overview of the GPRS system in terms of it’s system architecture and signaling protocol and describes the simulation platform developed to carry out the analysis.
